Consultation Disclaimer

Before Treatment may be established for Telehealth, it is important to present for a 30-minute FREE Consultation.  The Consultation gives me an idea of what you are looking for in your personal journey; and, it gives you the freedom to decide if I am the right person to facilitate your Mental Health Counseling, Life Coaching, Essential Oil Consulting or Reiki.

Behavioral Health Assessment

The Behavioral Health Assessment (BHA) is a way for me to accurately assess your Mental Health Status and create a Treatment Plan based upon your unique set of life experiences.  The BHA usually comprises completion of Client Registration, Assessment Tools and an interview which comprehensively spans across all areas of life and lifestyle.  The BHA usually lasts for 1.5 hours depending on the amount of history.  If we need more time, we will use another session on a different day as I do not like to exhaust the individual.  Once the BHA is complete, I will construct a Treatment Plan unique to you.

Treatment Plan

The Treatment Plan comprises one or two areas that the individual wishes or needs to work on which will best suit him or her as well as how we are going to achieve those desired psychological/behavioral states of mind and/or being.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is an umbrella term used to refer to a large number of different modalities which are designed to assist individuals with making long term behavioral changes.  This therapy postulates that ‘if you can change the way you think, it will change the way you behave.’

Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.  Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal.  EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is a short-term form of psychotherapy that helps you identify self-defeating thoughts and feelings, challenge the rationality of those feelings, and replace them with healthier, more productive beliefs. REBT focuses mostly on the present time to help you understand how unhealthy thoughts and beliefs create emotional distress which, in turn, leads to unhealthy actions and behaviors that interfere with your current life goals. Once identified and understood, negative thoughts and actions can be changed and replaced with more positive and productive behavior, allowing you to develop more successful personal and professional relationships.  (Psychology Today "Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy" 2020)

Traditional Talk Therapy (T3)
Everyone needs emotional support.  Everyone needs to vent.  Everyone deserves to be heard and seen.  And, some things that happen to us are too difficult to comprehend, let alone be capable of processing the situation(s) appropriately on our own.  T3 Works!
